Star of the Week!

This is the first post of the Star of the Week programme and this week winner is Bohemians Fc's Mark Rossiter who was voted by our fans and players alike, so First off Well done Mark.

Mark has recently signed back for Bohs and has recently said that he is happy with the Dublin club and cannot wait for the start of the new season! He has been playing with local Club Bohemians since 2007 and in Micheal O'Niell's (Shamrock Rovers manager) first derby he fired in a free kick from all of 25 yards and had a brilliant start to his Bohemians Career! He was loved by everyone associated with Bohs at the time. He went on to win two League of Ireland Championships and just the one FAI Cup and just the one Setanta Cup. We will tell you more about him now!
Early Career:

Sunderland 2002-2004
He started off with Sunderland which was quite funny as a kid he supported Newcastle!! He made his debut against Arsenal in November 2002, he would go on to play no more games for Sunderland as when he was playing in a Ireland Under 21s match he ruptured his cruciate ligament against Albania and was then released by Sunderland at the end of the season in 2004.

Finn Harps 2005
He only trained for a short period with Finn Harps and then shortly retired from the game.

Bohemians FC 2007-present
Sean Connor was the man responsible for bringing Mark Rossiter out of retirement to play for Former Champions Bohemians FC in 2007 and then in 2008 Bohs won the league by a matter of 19 points after nearest challengers St.Patrick's Athletic and Rossi helped along the way with goals against vital teams such as Shamrock Rovers and Cork City along the way.
In 2009 Rossiter enjoyed a mixed season and was at fault for the goal vs Red Bull who knocked out the then Champions , however that season they would go onto to win the League once again and Rossiter will pick up his second League of Ireland Winners' medal after Bohs won the league over Rovers by just four points. The next season in 2010 was a disappointing one for Rossiter and Bohs alike as they crashed out of Europe due to Welsh side The New Saints and not only that but lost the league on goal difference to Shamrock Rovers! And on a personal note for Rossi was that he has struggled to break into the Bohs side that year! And to make matters worse when he's contract was up he was let go by Bohemians FC and faced a tough year ahead, but has recently signed back for Bohs just in time for the new season. The future is bright for Mark Rossiter!

Fan's Messages:
